(Hokkaido Winter Snow Twinkle)
Personal Videography - shot and edited
I went back to my home, Hokkaido, Japan, in winter 2024-2025. I saw snow for the first time in three years, and I noticed Hokkaido's beauty in nature. I kept taking some clips here and there during my stay for three weeks, and put them together in a short video.
I hope everyone enjoys a glimpse of beautiful Hokkaido in winter.

We created both English and Spanish versions. For each language, we made one full version and three short versions based on the full-length version (total 8 videos).

Project Management - coordinated and managed an interview over Zoom, supervised editing based on the interview, created a narrative, supervised editing and motion graphics
We created this video to celebrate Mike Paciello, a pioneer in assistive technology, upon receiving CSUN College of Health and Human Development (HHD) Heros Award. We interviewed him over Zoom since he lived out California and made it into a 6-minute video.

This is a video for celebrating Dr. Zavala upon receiving the Distinguished Career Award. I was the Cinematographer/Videographer for recording the interview with her and taking brolls. We filmed in a classroom, so I paid careful attention to having a good background to represent her science research in addition to deciding camera position and lighting design.

CSUN University Library Creative Maker Studio 10-Year Anniversary Reflection Video
Cinematographer
This is a video introducing the 10-year path of Creative Maker Studio (CMS) at CSUN Library, as well as introducing their facilities. We interviewed about 10 people and filmed at various locations within CMS. It was a great challenge as a cinematographer as I needed to find a good spot to film for each interviewee, find the framing, and decide the lighting plan very quickly. We also carefully examined the background as each location represented each interviewee's personality.

Christmas Tree
This is a video I made to capture the memory of the Christmas Tree. It took more than 4 or 5 hours to put all the ornaments. Every single piece has its memory; some of them say their children's names, the special "Merry Xmas" symbol is more than 100 years old descended from his great-grandfather, one doll is almost broken, but it's kept that way so it reminds of the historical Northridge earthquake.
